Unless you get your hands dirty from time to time — you lose touch with the real life — and with it your perspective becomes narrow and artificial
Gratitude comes from appreciation. Appreciation comes from perspective. You obviously don’t appreciate what you take for granted. You need that perspective to, literally, put things in perspective. And with it find gratitude
Without perspective surely you will be depressed… because some fool said something mean and your neighbor got a new car, etc…
Get some real problems, or get your hands dirty sometimes
We love to talk about politics and money and how to live and what to do and what life is
You don’t know what life is
You don’t know anything about any of those things
Because you don’t know what real life is
You don’t know the unique challenges life poses because you only have your life with your little bundle of problems and goals
Get your hands dirty rather then talk
You complain at lack of inspiration
absence of excitation
Your world is sterile and bland
What you gained in comfort you paid with experience
Get your hands dirty to experience the world the way it is
And get your hands dirty to be inspired by something actually REAL
and human
Get your hands dirty and let REAL problems actually inspire you
You may just be lucratively rewarded for solving a problem of actual import
Get your hands dirty and experience the REAL life
You may just discover that beauty you were craving
maybe it was always there
Get your hands dirty and get some blisters
get yourself sweaty
make yourself humble
you glorify humbleness like you know something about it
humbleness is not one of those fake faces that you put
get some blisters over your hands AND over your brain
only life can humble you up
you must find something to humble you up
get your hands dirty brother and sister
