You Can’t Do Anything

You can do anything… as long as you can.

Don’t let anyone tell you that you can do anything.

It not only wrong – it’s fucking pointless. There’s no point in doing anything. Egoic pursuits only aggravate the insecurity — and the corresponding suffering. So does hedonistic pursuit of pleasure – it only numbs you, until you no longer feel anything (as opposed to the child-like joy enjoyed in the springtime in the sun, when you are simple)

The only point of doing something is the doing.

You can do the “anything” if the doing is something you TRULY want at heart, something which is not a futile pursuit of self-becoming – but a pure expression of opportunity. Opportunity of which you choicelessly happened to be PART OF.

Don’t try to do “anything”. It doesn’t matter if you do great things. Trying to be “great” only makes you small. Forever drop the idea of competing – it will only breed delusion and suffering.

Don’t even try do to something. Don’t fucking try at all! Trying is effort – effort which betrays your desire to become (something). Don’t try to become something – you can’t. You will always be you. There is no spiritual deliverance. Only life, the WHOLE life. The moment you transcend ambition – your action become effortless. There is no “trying”.
