The REAL Meaning of “Going With The Flow”

What would it mean, to “go with the flow”?

If someone heard this phrase for the first time, heard this advice for the first time — what would he surmise?

Please look into the meaning of “going with the flow” for yourself.

I imagine going with the flow would be avoiding obstacles.

One is moving with the flow like the flow of water. Water doesn’t get stuck on obstacles. It doesn’t linger. It just keeps moving. One way or another.

You hear the “go with the flow” advice and you take it more or less seriously and you implement it to larger or lessen extent… or perhaps you do not implement it because you never looked into what it means to “go with the flow”.

please consider:

— do you have problems?

— do you “work hard”?

— do you worry?

— do you complain?

I don’t think there’s time to complain when you are moving.

I don’t think there’s such thing as problems when you are flowing.

I don’t think the flow is “hard”. I wouldn’t describe it as “hard”.

I don’t think there’s any space for “negativity” when you are flowing. Is “negativity” not an obstacle? Is it helping you or not? If it’s not helping you — surely it is an obstacle, isn’t it?

please consider:

you say “go with the flow” but do you?

Are you making life easy for yourself – or hard?

please be present be focused, in some moment of your life, and consider:

How does this choice serve you? How does this action serve you?

Does negative thought make you positive? Does struggle make your life easier?

Are you flowing? Or are you ploughing?

It’s a choice.

Don’t even say “go with the flow” but please look very very deeply at what it means,

the wisdom of flowing, flowing like water, flowing like a river, this is some greatest wisdom;

please,

flow
