Lifestyle Philosophy

When You Do The Right Thing — You Become Peaceful

When you do the right thing — you become peaceful

When you do your best — you become peaceful

Life is really not that complicated

There’s whatever is necessary, truly necessary

And then there is only how you settle it

You can settle it the best you can, do your best, do the right thing

Or you can settle it dismissively, perfunctorily, lethargically

You can settle it dismissively, perfunctorily, lethargically

You can distract yourself

Distract yourself with minutia, with entertainment, with ideas

You can make excuses

Make excuses, find objections, brush off, hide behind your pride or hide behind your victimhood

None of that will do you any good

None of that will increase your chances of solving your problem

None of that will increase your chances of solving your problem

Instead you can do what is right, do your best — and set things the best way possible

It’s self-evident what is right, it’s self-evident that it is right to do your best

And you know it. It’s obvious, it’s self-evident, therefore you know it

And this is why you won’t know peace until you did your best

You won’t give yourself the gift of peace — not until you know that you did your best

Does it mean your problems will disappear?

No

But often the biggest problem is you

You and your confusion and self-delusion

You being scattered, unfocused

Why don’t you just give up on all the nonsense — and do a SINGLE FUCKING THING RIGHT?

And then at least you’ll know where you stand

You failed? Good. You succeeded? Good.

At least the confusion is gone

And with it there’s some room for peace

Please be simple
