If You Can’t Take Them With You — You Have To Abandon Them

Abandoning others is condemned

Betraying others is condemned

But what if it’s necessary?

This has nothing to do with taking yourself up at the expense of others

With the exception of you removing yourself from their lives, abandoning them

Besides that — you’re not “using” them, you’re not getting one up on them

You’re just leaving them

You’re just leaving them

Which can be rather drastic, yes

But necessary

How is it necessary?

You’re born alone

And in truth you are alone

And your single duty is to expand your consciousness, expand yourself

Your single duty is to take yourself up

Only then do you take others up

You can only give when you’ve something to give

Your single duty is to take yourself up

Obviously this doesn’t mean taking others down

In fact: if you’re wise you’ll understand that to take others down is ultimately to take yourself down. It is detrimental to all.

Your single duty is to take yourself up

Only then you take others up — once you’re up

Once you’re up — you take others up

And if you’re not up — you DON’T WAIT FOR OTHERS

Because you may be waiting a really long fucking time

And there’s no time

Therefore

You must betray them

If you can’t take them with you — you must betray them

And this is not spoken of, is it?

Betrayal is associated with all this Machiavellian nonsense

It seems only the money-game suggests leaving others behind (and again often in a bad way — such as getting over them somehow, zero-sum-game style)

And yet all your growth will require leaving some behind

BETRAYING some

And the more you grow the more alienating you’ll become

And the more alien your past associations, past choices, past selves will become

So please make peace with that

Please take EVERYONE UP that you can

But don’t ever let them be an excuse for stifling your own growth

Don’t let your complacency deceive you under the guise of goodness

It’s NOT goodness — but EVIL — to fail to ELEVATE ONESELF

If you can’t take them with you — abandon them

Go up

THEN give them a hand
