Writing and talking is so much fun that the temptation to talk and write without having anything to say can sometimes take hold
Do you always need to have something to say?
Sometimes you only learn you had something to say once you started talking
So on one hand we have the meaningless fluff and blabber and babbling and prattling and nonsense and sales-pitch and pep-talk and mental-masturbation and rhetorics
And on the other hand there’s the STIFLED-NESS, the reluctance to express oneself, and even the inability to introspect
I don’t think you should think before you speak
I think you shouldn’t think before you speak
You should think ALL the time
Then speak what’s on your mind
Same goes for writing
You should speak and sing and write and paint
Whatever you want
And when what comes out loses meaning — you stop
The moment you recognise there really is nothing you have to say — you stop
Sometimes you have to try it to know it!
And then you try and you recognise
You will know if it is worthwhile
Please don’t force it
Please recognise when you have nothing to say
There’s nothing wrong with that
Instead return to the world and to your life
Participate and observe, vigilantly
Consider thoroughly, be mindful, be intelligent
And before you know it you are overflowing with PERCEPTIONS about this beautiful world
Again, it’s imperative that you don’t force it
The purpose of EXPRESSION is to EXPRESS
EXPRESSION with nothing to express is just pure vanity, VANITAS VANITATUM
Don’t do it
Don’t do it
I know many “artists” do it. They are no longer artists
I know writers do it
I know politicians do only that
I know your favourite content creator does it
That, my friend, is prostitution
The world is lesser because of that stupid waste of time
And they themselves bereave their lives of meaning
So again
Don’t worry what you say, speak your mind
Just be mindful if it’s nonsense
You do so much, mindfully and sincerely, and neither trap should snare you
Neither the unhealthy inhibition that’s so prevalent in our culture
Nor the evil vanity of meaningless production, that ugly noise
