-there’s something one wants
-one is more wanting or less wanting
-one either believes that what-one-wants is possible or not
if he believes it’s indeed possible…
-one either ACTS ON IT , DOESN’T ACT… or it’s a SPECTRUM (a hierarchy)
-and to ALL OF THE ABOVE he can have anything from NEGATIVE to POSITIVE attitude
-to thing he wants
-the likelihood of getting that thing
-to HAVING or NOT HAVING IT
-to WHAT IT TAKES to get it
DETAIL:
There’s something one wants
One is more WANTING or less wanting
We all want something. But different things we want with different intensity.
Indeed some of us don’t really care and would gladly die.
Then some of us care so much that they would also die — for that which they care about.
Some of us are more wanting. Some of us are more determined. Some of us are more lustful, lustful for life.
One either believes that what-one-wants is possible or not
If one doesn’t believe it’s possible then of course that is the end of it
REGARDLESS if he’s right or wrong
Careful what you believe in
One either ACTS ON IT , DOESN’T ACT… or it’s a SPECTRUM (a hierarchy)
The binary method of “either do it or not” is the most uncompromising, but also least flexible.
It’s the best method for those of us who delude ourselves. Delude ourselves with “some day”, or “when things change”, or “when I have time”, or any of that nonsense.
Deciding between either DOING IT NOW or giving up — that clears this delusion, clears this nonsense
But life is obviously more than a single thing you do one at a time. Living is doing many things. Living is doing MANY things.
Some things you do at once.
You have finite resources, finite time — and infinitely many things to potentially do, to explore, in this wonderful world
Some of those things seem more important than others therefore you put them atop your list. You PRIORITISE.
You make a hierarchy. You do those things BEFORE things lower down the list.
And the more you want the more time you’ll spend making tough decisions of WHAT you shall CHOOSE OVER something else
Because you can’t have it all.
And you can’t do it all.
And perhaps what you’re getting is good but you could do better
And perhaps what you’re doing is good but you could do better
He can have anything from NEGATIVE to POSITIVE attitude:
-to thing he wants
-the likelihood of getting that thing
-to HAVING or NOT HAVING IT
-to WHAT IT TAKES to get it
And of course , the IDEAL IS:
-POSITIVE ATTITUDE to what one can’t have, and NOT HAVING IT
(ultimately: absolute, general CONTENTMENT, ACCEPTANCE, and LOVE for THIS LIFE and THIS MOMENT)
-REALISTIC ATTITUDE to POSSIBILITY of GETTING IT (something)
consciousness, clarity
-POSITIVE ATTITUDE to PROCESS OF GETTING IT
non-self-sacrifice; non-hustler-mentality
=HAPPY IN LACK and HAPPY IN HAVING. HAPPY IN GETTING and HAPPY IN BEING
And the reverse is of course the worst scenario:
-NEGATIVE ATTITUDE to NOT having it
-DELUSIONAL belief in IMPOSSIBILITY of getting it (something)
-if getting anything at all – NEGATIVE attitude about the PROCESS
Please smile
And please act
Life is about LIVING, CHANGING, MOVING, EVOLVING
