Competition Is A Lie

Competition is a lie.

Saying “I had competition” is identical to saying “it’s not my fault”.

Which is identical to not taking responsibility.

Zero-sum-games” are a lie too.

Games in which you gain at the expense of others are no games worth playing. Might as well not exist.

Games in which there’s a hierarchy, a ranking — are NO GAMES WORTH PLAYING.

This is a FLAWED measure, ILLUSIONARY

The ONLY measure is what you did today

YOU, YOURSELF

What YOU YOURSELF IMPROVED,

What YOU YOURSELF CREATED,

Hopefully you created something wonderful

Hopefully so wonderful that you would want to SHARE it with others

“Zero-sum-games” are a lie too.

Even a “zero-sum”game” is a NON-zero-sum-game.

How?

Because you IMPROVE.

You improve as a person.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re no.1 or no.34543 — what YOU IMPROVED — YOU IMPROVED,

You’re MEASURABLY BETTER,

Therefore it was not a zero-sum-game. Because you gained. Without taking from others. Without overtaking anyone in the hierarchy.

And this is ALL the games

You think there are games which are zero-sum — you battling it over a limited number of some resource,

NONSENSE

You can MAKE MORE RESOURCE

Yes you can

You just have to be more ingenious

We use the word “competitive” casually, neutrally,

Nonsense

There is no neutral “competitiveness”.

“Competitive” means competing with others,

There’s NOTHING to compete about

There’s ONLY what you improved today, how you benefited yourself today, how you benefited your brother and sister today

When you go into a “competitive market” — you DECIDE if you want to COMPETE with others — or if you want to GET BETTER YOURSELF.

For one who seeks self-betterment, who seeks improvement, who seeks innovation — there’s no such thing as a “competitive market”,

You decide who you compete with

You decide what you consider a “victory”

You decide what your goals are

And your goal should be to improve yourself

And YOU decide how you want to improve yourself, what improvement means to you

It doesn’t matter if anyone approves or appreciates or rewards of it.

Of course when you get better — the world sends you higher up the hierarchy

You can fall in love with this fleeting adulation of the vain world,

This is how you lose your soul

When you care more what the world thinks of you than what you think of you

You used to think well of you if you DID WELL today, if you improved today,

Now you think well of you when the world thinks well of you

Please don’t fall into that trap

YOU DECIDE what matters to you

Your work — or what the world thinks of your work

I don’t wanna hear of “competitive market”, or any of those small-minded ideas we borrowed from the economists and politicians,

Anytime I hear the word competition — I only see a fancy way of shifting blame,

You LACKING is almost NEVER due to “STEEP COMPETITION”

The only question to ever ask oneself is:

CAN YOU IMPROVE, OR NOT?

This is what matters,

If you can — then improve. This is all that matters

one last time

I don’t wanna hear about LIMITED RESOURCES

Not because resources are never limited. Resources ARE limited. Physical, mental, social, time…

But this has became a thought-terminating cliché

A SELF-IMPOSED LIMITATION

Deriving it’s creditability from stating the obvious economical truth of resources being limited, blabla

Any time I hear it — I just hear another loser, who doesn’t see the bigger picture, doesn’t understand why he’s doing what he’s doing

He just wants to take. Rather than create.

Most of what you call “limited resources” and “limited opportunity” is just your LIMITED IMAGINATION

Case closed

The world is really abundant

The world is really not HOLDING BACK from you

we

WE are holding back from ourselves

Please see

Please see

and please just do better yourself
