Bet on The Self-Improving
Bet on the self-improving
But only on the TRULY self-improving
In general people don’t change.
Therefore you want people already FITTING, already SUITABLE, already PERFECT.
Yes you can teach them a thing or two — but you can’t expect them to change. Therefore you want them already changed, already right.
The exceptions are those who are already changing, who are in this process of self-improving.
To improve is to change.
Those who are self-improving are the exception to the rule.
In self-improving they are proving that they can, in fact, change.
This is why those who actually had to overcome some crippling challenges in their lives tend to go further than those who had gotten things more easily.
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
What makes you stronger — actually changes you.
To learn to become stronger is to learn to change oneself.
Many never learn how to change.
And some die trying.
But those who learned to change — continue changing, continue improving.
It must be TRUE self-improvement, TRUE ability to change
Most men only appear to change, appear to improve. They “improve” by improving their image, their impression of success.
Most men go round in circles. They perfunctorily improve one thing — only to see something else break elsewhere. They fix it and then something else breaks. They don’t really want to change, therefore they always find a way back to the same shit.
It must be true improvement.
How do you know it’s true?
You know it’s true if they tangibly improve every day.
Only that is real.
The rest is appearances.
What you did better today is real.
Those man are worth betting on.
Everyone else is worth betting on ONLY if they are already winners in their little niche.
Please make no mistake.
People don’t change.
Decades are wasted trying to change the changeless people.
Only try to change those who already proved they can change. Those that are proving every day they can change and grow and evolve.
You can teach people a lot — but you can’t change them. Only few people can change.
Never underestimate those that can change.
If they can maintain it — there’s no limit to what they can do.
Most men eventually stagnate. Improvement of most men is rarely self-sustained, rarely drawn from within. It’s usually mostly derived from environment, and moving with it’s own momentum. Once that momentum runs out, once the path comes to an end — so does their “improvement” end.
Those who can however self-sustain their growth, self-navigate their growth, self-generate momentum — those will continue to grow. It will compound and before you know it they will leave everyone else in the dust
Find those people and bet on them.
Be one of those people.
