Human Flaws vs MIND-viruses

There are normal, ubiquitous, domesticated, elementary human flaws.

And there are MIND-VIRUSES.

Natural, normal humans flaws, are for instance:

-laziness

-lack of energy

-desire

-moods

-carelessness

-imperfection, fallibility

-etc

FLAWS are not even always flaws, really:

Emotions have a purpose

Desire obviously has a purpose

Energy obviously is exhausted — then regenerated

The only problem is our relationships to those phenomena. Refined through understanding.

We learn to deal with our flaws well, or less well

We learn what to expect of ourselves, and our flaws

We learn what to expect of others

We learn when to forgive

We learn when to forgive, we learn to forgive

Flaws are human

To fail is human

MIND-VIRUSES are different

Mind-viruses disgust us

Mind-viruses are not benign

Mind-viruses are not forgiven

Mind-viruses are contagious

What are mind-viruses?

It’s not a mere human flaw

It’s a virus

The result is sickness

It’s not like an inconsequential mistake

It’s a sickness

It doesn’t heal, typically

It spreads

Sickness sickens us

Mind-viruses are sickening

What are mind-viruses?

It’s not mere flaws which are corrected with trial and error, and ultimately inconsequential in the grand scheme of things

Mind-viruses are mind malfunctions, psychological malfunctions, philosophical malfunctions, emotional malfunctions

Unlike flaws which are inborn — those are LEARNED. CONTRACTED.

What are mind-viruses?

-NEEDINESS

-COWARDICE

-extreme stupidity, CRAZINESS

-self-seriousness

-MISERLINESS

-massive insecurity

-BITTERNESS, hostility

-extreme STUBBORNNESS

-deceitfulness, FAKENESS

-and more

Those are not mere flaws

They feel different

They evoke disgust

Disgust akin to a disgust with sickness

By the way, is disgusting deserving of disgust?

It may sound callous to say yes

I don’t say yes or no

There’s only objective reality

And then there’s objective reaction it evokes

But our subjective actions are our choice

And one may attempt to cure sickness

Or one may choose to live with it. One may have to choose to live with it.

This doesn’t concern me.

I’m just observing

I’m just observing that mind-viruses evoke DISGUST

For indeed those are sicknesses, viruses

And ought be cured

No emotion you experience should go unexamined

No thought you observe should pass unexamined

Examine your mind

Some of it’s weaknesses are natural

Some have been learned, contracted

And now you’re sick

How do you even know you’re sick?

Like any sick man would

Attempt activities requiring fitness:

Challenge yourself

-Change yourself

-Put yourself in different situations

-Go to places where you’ve never been

-Climb heights you’ve never reached

All of the above requires fitness

The beauty of the profane real world is that it challenges you, asks more of you

Whether you hate the world or love the world

Whether you await a better world, or prefer your own little world

THE real world, the world as a whole, the world as is it — is what challenges you

And therefore reveals how FIT you are

Understand the difference between mere FLAWS – and MIND-VIRUSES

Obviously it’s important for you to cure yourself

Perhaps you’re stressing too much about your flaws — when you should be curing yourself out of MIND-viruses

But if you care to live well — you’ll cure yourself anyway — or perish

But it’s also important to observe this phenomenon in others

Flaws can be worked with

Viruses must be cured

When we say “people don’t change” — we refer to viruses

Best avoid the sick, lest you get sick yourself

Best to know which battles are worth fighting

Best know your enemy, and your allay

I wish you good health
