If You’re Pushing Yourself, You Should Get Some “NEGATIVITY”

If you’re PUSHING, of course the WORLD/REALITY push back

The WORLD:

-your hitherto world is not BUILD for the new world you’re creating, it has to be broken down

e.g. past people have to be removed

places have to be changed

old habits are now inefficiencies and vulnerabilities, you need new habits

-to ADD something you have to REMOVE something, because there’s always the same number of hours in a day

-of course when you build something, often it fails, and you’ll be left off worse than before (less time and capital)

-you learn the explicit of how to DO or BE something you want — but then you also have to learn the implicit and concealed, once you’re near

all the stuff related to that thing you wanted — which you couldn’t have PREDICTED

 

You YOURSELF push back:

-you’re pushing to get more energy, get more done, do better — sometimes you’ll exceed your limits and hurt yourself

-sometimes you beat LAZINESS and WEAKNESS, and sometimes you actually HURT yourself

ruin your health, or happiness, or temper, or relationships

-you stay CALM, you solve the problems, you ADAPT — but sometimes you’ll unknowingly STUFF some emotion too deep, and it will poison you, and eventually blow up violently

-you squeeze every hour out of the day, get more done, become more efficient with time — but sometimes you oversqueeze, overextend , and find yourself with everything crashing and no time to fix it all, no buffers, no backups and backup time

 

REALITY pushes back:

-you build something NEW and remarkable based on your understanding of REALITY and WHAT IS POSSIBLE — but now you will learn all the NEW WAYS in which something is NOT POSSIBLE

ways you couldn’t have KNOWN beforehand, because it was simply NOT known at that time, NOT done before

 

= if you’re going REALLY HARD, and it is reflected in TANGIBLE IMPROVEMENTS — you SHOULD GET NEGATIVE SOMETIMES

Tangible improvements = not necessarily flashy metrics of “success”, which are illusive, but STRICTLY DEFINED PRECISE PERSONAL BUT TANGIBLE AND REALISTIC METRICS (=DAILY REAL WORLD OUTCOMES AND IMPROVEMENTS)

 

let’s admit it one more time:

NEGATIVE EMOTIONS ARE NOT WRONG

It’s only WRONG if you FAIL to LET GO OF THEM

INDEED,

Here I could argue that perhaps, SPONTANEOUS NEGATIVE EMOTIONS, engendered as a side effect of GREAT PURPOSE and GREAT VISION and GREAT GOALS — could be a POSITIVE indicator

It means it’s ACTUAL GREATNESS, ACTUAL GROWTH you’re concerning yourself with

Growth is painful, birth is painful, transformation is painful

The only caveat is that you can’t let this negativity ever LINGER, ever CONSUME YOU

This is the moment when the strain no longer causes you to grow, but instead to break
