Stupidity and evil are one and the same
At worst, our system is stupid, flawed — therefore it fails to prevent evil
But otherwise we, as individuals, harm others and ourselves and this world — out of ignorance
We could have made this place more wonderful for ourselves and others, but we’re too stupid
The fool will do evil without even understanding what he’s doing
He fails to comprehend full consequences of his actions
What a fool
The evil is too stupid to understand that evil is a suboptimal strategy
That it’s better to build together, with others
That we’re stronger together
That our work is synergistic
And that we need so little — yet can share so much
Now,
Perhaps the hardest part of accepting stupidity
is
accepting how EVIL it is
How it is not benign
That it is as evil as all the evil in the world
And how at an extreme — it betides profound suffering, disaster, calamity
Likewise,
perhaps the hardest part of accepting EVIL
is
accepting how fucking STUPID it is
How that evil devil… is just a confused fool
A feral animal from a bad neighbourhood, bad house, and bad history
Or perhaps something wrong with his brain, the absence of normal moral intuitions,
Or perhaps just ideological fanaticism, self-righteous absolute conviction about his delusional, dangerous ideals
Which one of the EVIL beings you’ve heard of or have known — doesn’t fit into one (or more) of those categories?
It really does help to think of those two as one,
Merely accepting STUPIDITY can work temporarily…
….but then you lose your shit upon realising it’s downright EVIL consequences, when it finally comes to that
the utter DESTRUCTION, CHAOS, DEVASTATION
and just plain and simple pain and suffering
Likewise merely accepting evil only works temporarily,
but when you realise that EVIL will never simply be solved by justice, and more justice,
that it won’t be solved by punishment, and more punishment,
that evil lingers everywhere, out of nothing more than ignorance and incompetence and stupidity,
you of course lose your shit,
One evil mad psychopath made his way to electric chair,
but not the other mad cunt completely contented with destroying everything we hold dear
It really has to be pictured as one,
EVIL = STUPIDITY
STUPIDITY = EVIL
You can’t look at one and not see the other
It would be a drastic lack of imagination, stupid in itself
You must accept the two as a unit, accept the two as one
THEN it will make sense
And only that which is understood — can be accepted
And only that which is accepted — can be dealt with
Strategically,
and psychologically, emotionally, philosophically, spiritually
View the world this way,
and the world will seem just a bit less evil… and a bit more confused, pitifully disoriented, misguided
View the world this way,
and the world will seem just a bit less innately idiotic… and a bit more… trying? Evolving? Slowly figuring it out?
Indeed,
It’s but a bunch of fucking animals trying to figure out a way to get by,
Sometimes failing stupidly,
Sometimes violently,
And sometimes, something, works out just wonderfully
And we act wisely,
Find wise solutions,
And we act kindly,
And find love
Picture yourself as a caring parent,
Or even a fucking pet-owner
Your boy has been naughty,
your boy has been stupid,
what now?
Well let’s hope you’ll find SOME way to show them reason,
Let’s hope they’ll understand, somehow
And if nothing else,
let’s at least hope they will not be put in a situation in which they will fail miserably
Fail not in a good way — but FAIL as in BE EVIL
because they were just too stupid to see what they were doing
Let’s hope so
And if that happened,
it’s not like you can do much, can you?
