When you’re super brilliant — you risk sometimes being super crazy.
That’s the price of trying new, crazy things. But if you pull it off — you’re a genius.
Not everyone can be a genius. And likely the genius knew EVERYTHING there was to know — BEFORE he transcended it, pushed the envelope.
You likely know fuck all
You should live in such a way so that you will eventually get lucky
Expose yourself to good fortune
Expose yourself to a lot of good fortune, by working hard on very many things, learning a ton, thinking a ton
That’s admirable
And eventually you get lucky
ALAS!
Great luck is also a curse
Now you believe it was always meant to be
Now you believe you’re so special
Now you believe you’re doing something right,
You are
Mostly what I said: you expose yourself to great fortune, and do everything under the sun to get the most out of this opportunity
That’s more than 90% of people, or 99%
But NOT more than 99.9999% of people
You’re not that special
Those are some reasons why the WILDLY successful – can also be wildly DELUDED, MAD, CONSPIRATORIAL
They:
-already made it = don’t need help
–refusal to appreciate the SYSTEM for enabling them — for it would undermine their achievement and superiority
-STATE, GOVERNMENT, is indeed now mostly an obstruction
-general DISTRUST of AUTHORITY — since they made it by distrusting a lot of things (including other’s scepticism)
-have delusions of how EASY it is to make it — because of having gotten lucky
-likewise having already made it — also have delusions of INSIGHT, think they KNOW THE METHOD
-and yes, also having often done some things better = SEE how PATHETIC many people are, disempowered. But they over-correct on scepticism of the masses
-also magical thinking — from noticing just the sheer discrepancy between their goals and dreams being realised, vs average loser — they now believe they sometimes DO have that magic power to WILL their thoughts into reality
+having made it — are now detached from REAL WORLD CORRECTIVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK = their delusions are never challenged
+not unlikely now only get stimulated and validated by pushing the envelope into more extremes = thus extreme beliefs and views are the low-hanging fruit
Oh and before you call me naive for NOT being conspiratorial,
There’s the third way, you know?
Where you neither TRUST everything,
NOR reject everything
When you reject authority — you’re NOT enlightened
You’re merely left WITHOUT authority
You’re left in the dark
So the few things you can do is:
-either FIND BETTER AUTHORITY — which often takes you to the conspiratorial
-stay in the dark, and at least have courage to acknowledge your own ignorance
-or use the existing authorities to the extent to which you manage to make them useful
MAYBE, just maybe, doctors are useful sometimes? Maybe you’re not an expert in statistics either? Etc.
So if you wonder why some of the super-successful go super-crazy,
please don’t try this at home
Mimic THAT which made them successful, VERY SPECIFICALLY.
And MAYBE NOT the esoteric bullshit. Not unless you yourself have verified it too
And if you yourself are extremely successful,
Just STFU
STFU is a glorious advice to anyone
As a super-successful — you should know best that peak performance is not about TALKING or philosophising or meditating or some magical mindset
ALL of that can help… but any high-performer had seen PLENTY other high-performance — whose only common denominator was… high performance. High performance SPECIFICALLY in that thing,
So if you now feel you have the SECRET of the universe…
Then STFU and prove it — like you’ve proven with your previous venture
Maybe this way you want become a pathetic conspiratorial loudmouth cuntface nut
