FULL RESPONSIBILITY — or NONE

Always take either FULL responsibility — or NONE.

If something matters — you take responsibility.

You personally make sure that it succeeds.

Because you care, because it matters

If something doesn’t matter, if something is not so important — then you don’t have to take responsibility

You can dabble

There’s nothing wrong with that

A lot of good things happen by chance, without your commitment

If something matters — and it matters not only to you but to someone else — you still take responsibility

For the same reason as previously — because it matters, because you care

If you care — then nothing can change that. There’s no good reason to NOT have what you want, if you COULD have what you want

Therefore you take responsibility

You do it yourself

Or you take responsibility for the OTHER person taking responsibility — and doing it for you

What you don’t do is HALF take responsibility

Because there’s no such thing as a half-responsibility

Just like there’s no such thing as half-leaders

There’ only:

-IF it matters, if it’s important

-HOW it’s going to happen

If you can’t tell EXACTLY how it’s going to happen — then it’s NOT going to happen

In half responsibility, you DON’T know EXACTLY how it’s going to happen

You HOPE someone will do it… you consider yourself doing it, should it come to that… but you DON’T KNOW

This is not how you care for anything

If you care – you KNOW

Not everyone knows this, obviously

Most people don’t understand the difference

They only take responsibility when it’s very very clear to them that they care — and that they are the only person responsible

And most people rarely even care

And most people are not particularly fond of having extra responsibility

And most people don’t particularly gain from extra responsibility — they don’t care anyway

But you care

Therefore it would be most unfortunate for you to learn the bad habit of taking half-responsibility

You must take full responsibility, for your own sake

And for others sake

This means that anytime there is a confusion in regards to WHO is responsible: then YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE

That’s provided you care in the first place

If you don’t — then you are NOT RESPONSIBLE

And you are responsible to declare that you’re NOT responsible

And you’re responsible to assert your own abandonment of responsibility, and utmost INNOCENCE — should things turn adversely and you were blamed for “not taking responsibility”

You TOOK RESPONSIBILITY FOR NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY

Now you responsibly REFUSE the responsibility for the adverse consequences, RESPONSIBLY REFUSE to TAKE THE BLAME

Therefore you make very clear immediately WHO IS RESPONSIBLE

If no one is — you decide if you take responsibility, or not

If someone is — you also decide if you are responsible for making sure they are responsible, or aren’t responsible

And if no one is responsible — you take responsibility for NOT being responsible

And if you take responsibility and others take responsibility — you take responsibility for yourself and others, for the desired outcome you share
