Give Up Hope

You should give up

You should literally give up. Give up hope. LET GO of hope.

Do you need hope…?

Hope has positive connotation in our culture. But is hope positive? Is hope positive?

What is hope? What different is hope to desire?

Why do you need hope?

Doesn’t hope imply becoming? Imply your hope for the better tomorrow?

Is tomorrow better? Is there deliverance? Can you ever become?

Or are you going to be the same person? The place will change and the time will change — but you’ll still be the same person?

Why do you need hope?

Is hope not escapism?

Is this not how you escape responsibility for your current situation?

For what your life ACTUALLY IS?

For what you actually ARE?

Do you need hope to get going?

Do you need to believe that what you’re doing has meaning?

Or is it already devoid of meaning?

It is already devoid of meaning — and now you’re just deluding yourself?

Do you need hope in order to sleep?

Do you need hope in order to nourish yourself?

Do you need hope in order to do what you want?

Do you need hope in order to chop some wood and build your own place, in a beautiful recess by the side of the forest…?

Do you need hope and motivation for all that?

“Alas I need long term motivation for my long term goals…”

No you don’t.

You picked the wrong goal.

You failed to be simple.

Pick long term goals which don’t feel like work yet grant you lucrative outcomes.

Don’t use your heart or brain but BOTH.

Use BOTH your heart and your brain.

Eliminate what you don’t want to do and eliminate the shit which doesn’t make fucking sense.

That’s your recipe for life.

DO YOU NEED HOPE?

Do you need hope when you’re doing what you love?

No you don’t.

Are you supposed to “never give up”?

No.

You’re supposed to give up.

In fact, you’re neither supposed to give up nor not give up. This entire notion is just a delusion.

You’re supposed to do WHAT YOU WANT. What’s to give up about that?

And you’re supposed to be SENSIBLE. What’s to give up about that?

You don’t “give up” on doing what you want. You just do.

You obviously don’t “give up” on reason! That’s absurd.

“Hope”, “never giving up”… all that is an error of understanding. Error of the psyche.

It involves all kinds of fallacies and delusions:

-the notion that there is some arrival, some deliverance

-the notion that there is some becoming

-the notion that there is some purpose, some finish line

-the notion that there is an entity moving, the “you”, which exists, and perhaps is even permanent

-the notion that your faith in certain outcome outweighs the reality

-the notion that your faith in certain outcome outweighs your incompetence and negligence

-the notion that you’re entitled to certain outcomes

one could go on and on,

What does it imply that you “never give up”? Doesn’t it imply that you’re mad? Are you altering your proceedings based on feedback you’re receiving? Based on your results? Or do you continue on the nonsense path because you never give up?

What does it imply that you “have hope”? Are you creating likely circumstances for yourself to achieve your outcomes? WHAT CHANGE DOES THE HOPE MAKE? “I have hope that things will go my way”… then DO THINGS your way. You don’t need hope. You just need to do the right thing. Then you hope expect.

And what’s with presupposing that a certain turn of events is favourable? What’s with judging the events and outcomes which haven’t even arrived yet? Why do you assume that you do want that something which you never had?

You clearly have no experience with that which you hope for. If you had — you probably wouldn’t hope for it. You don’t hope for what you already have.

This again reveals the escapist nature of hope. With hope you buy a lifetime of hoping. Lifetime of escaping your reality.

And with “never giving up” — you buy a predetermined path of stupidity. Path of doing the same over and over again. How is that going to alter your outcomes?

You should literally give up.

Right now give up on all your hopes — and just DO.

Do what you want.

Do what needs to be done.

Be very simple about it and direct.

Subject the least to fate because you are the cause of the effects in your life.

Don’t hope. Don’t talk! Don’t think don’t plan. You’re overcomplicating. It’s an equivocation. It’s an escape. You escape the truth that life is very fucking simple, you are very much alive right now, and what you need to do is what you need to do now, and it also has to make some sense.

No place for hope and all those time-based instruments of self-delusion.

You really should have no hope. There’s no time for that! You’re alive now. There’s no fucking time to wallow in hope.

Give up.

Do what must be done now. Do what you want now.

Give up on the rest of it..

Give up on hope.
