If Your Accomplishments Don’t Make You Happy, It’s Because You Can’t Touch Them

You thought that becoming something will make you happy.

It won’t.

NOT—becoming something can make you unhappy… you are terrified of being nothing, hence you create the ideal of being something.

You strive to become and to accomplish and to achieve but this is only an escape from being nothing…

And perhaps you truly did become SOMETHING… you are now bigger, stronger, richer, more accomplished, then everyone else you know… perhaps, this wonderful state will be your shelter, your pride. Or perhaps, it will be the end of your illusion, the inevitable confrontation with it’s emptiness.

If your accomplishments don’t make you happy, it’s because you can’t touch them.

You only achieved to escape your fears.

Now that you achieved, you can’t even touch it, you can’t even feel it.

Any achievement is just an artificial concept. It’s only value is the one you assign to it, and when you realize your IDEALS are your own SELF—INVENTED ILLUSIONS, they instantly become worthless and empty.

You can’t touch your achievements. They are not real.

ACHIEVEMENTS ARE BY—PRODUCTS OF ACTION.

ACTION is the result of INSPIRATION.

We got it all twisted, working for stupid achievements and trophies and toys and titles.

It’s the inspiration, and the subsequent action, which is REAL… and in which great joy, great beauty is concealed.

Results, the so called “achievements”, are only the remnants, the worthless leftover, the DEAD TRACES OF THE PAST, FROZEN IN THE MEMORY.

…But we build our sense of SELF, our EGO, around them, hence, the SHADOW became more important then the object casting it.
