Ignorance, Innocence, Evil, Cast a Stone

“He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone “

Most man are in no position to pose MORAL CONDEMNATION.

This is because they are not themselves righteous.

Doesn’t mean they are wicked.

But they are not righteous. Because there is nothing righteous that they could ever do.

This is because most man are utterly insignificant.

Utterly insignificant and mediocre.

There is little good that they could do and less evil still that they could perpetrate.

They are untested therefore their righteousness cannot be assumed.

Therefore they are absolutely in no position to pose any moral judgment.

The few RIGHTEOUS could and should condemn the wicked — for the betterment of the whole.

It is not a privilege, mind you. It is a burden. Just like power is a burden.

Power is power, power is power to decide and exert one’s will and power is freedom.

But power is a burden, leadership is a burden, freedom is a burden.

It’s easier to just let go. Like it’s easier to die. It’s less work to just fucking die.

The few righteous invariably have power — since it’s only in the face of power that they get to prove their righteousness.

And one of the responsibilities which comes with it is condemnation of the wicked.

Is speaking their truths.

And if they fail at that — they in turn become the wicked. They become accomplices.

…Alas the sad truth is that most EVIL is just IGNORANCE.

Most men are as capable of good as of evil

That’s because most men have no notion what is what in the first place.

(This is also the very reason why most men can’t be righteous — their morality is not their choice — it is merely an extension of their environment and circumstances)

Most men have no notion what is what because most men are ignorant.

Ignorance is not benign — ignorance is evil.

But they are ignorant even of that — they are ignorant about their own ignorance.

Therefore they do not understand that they are EVIL in their ignorance.

Therefore they are innocent?

I refuse to call ignorant mediocrity innocent. Ignorance is evil.

But to speak of evil and wrongdoing and morality without emphasizing the absolutely vital role of the ignorance is itself ignorant and evil. It perverts the true nature of the problem.

The true nature being that ultimately all evil is ignorance.

The evil of ordinary people being a more superficial evil of genuinely ignorantly never seeing themselves and their ignorant actions as evil.

And the evil of “evil” — evil perpetrated with cold blood — is still ignorance of the true ramifications of evil, as well as ignorance about what self truly is, or rather, what it is not.

Indeed when you truly see EVIL this way, and you see all this utter ignorance, and you see how evil-doer is really causing harm to himself — you really can only feel profoundly compassionate,

And to CONDEMN someone, to cast the fucking stone — it suddenly feels so incredibly stupid,

It feels like you kicked a sick helpless man to the dirt

And what eventually transpires is you’d rather really not cast any stones,

You’re really doubting yourself being in a position to cast that stone,

And what you’re seeing is that you’ve got work to do yourself,

And instead of casting the stone — you should cast the light,

You should cast the light of wisdom to illuminate the darkness of ignorance,

This is what you should do

And do it with compassion and care,

Like to your son and your daughter and your brother and your sister,

Like their establishment was your own establishment

This is the meaning of “he that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone”.

It means that you are in no position to cast the stone.

And even if you were — you really are only casting a stone at yourself.

CONDEMNATION generally doesn’t work.

It is sometimes necessary — and I prey you have the strength to give the truth.

But the first question to always ask yourself is WHAT MORE CAN YOU DO.

And then how can you BETTER the lives of your brothers and sisters.

And how we can all eradicate ignorance.

Do that first — and then take that stone and choose where it belongs
