Few know what they want.
Everyone thinks they want something, and everyone is disappointed upon receiving it… now you want something else.
Knowing what you want is not knowledge. It’s a state.
“What you want” is not a thing. You can’t get it and keep it.
“What you want” is never fixed. It’s ever changing, ever flowing.
One moment you are hungry.
Another you are full.
One moment you’re sleepy.
Next moment you want to jump out of your bad.
One moment you want to DO something, work on something.
Another you just want to rest in your cozy armchair.
One moment you want to be with your loved ones.
Another you’d rather be by yourself.
Life is what it’s smallest parts are. Life consists of moments, smallest moments, one transitioning into another, RIGHT NOW.
If you understand yourself at every one of those smallest moments, if you know what it is that you need, what it is that you want, and any given moment… then you shall know PEACE, then you shall know happiness.
In “knowing what you want” there is no hope.
In “knowing what you want” there is no desire.
In “knowing what you want” there is no ambition.
In “knowing what you want” there is no conflict!
In “knowing what you want” there is only ACTION.
In “knowing what you want” there is only a genuine response. A true response, untainted by our past, our conditioning, our superficial wishes… just an absolute immersion in the timeless, in the moment, in the true being.
