Make up Twice

Always make up twice for your shortcomings

When you always make up for your shortcomings — you don’t lose respect for yourself.

And others may even respect you more.

Few can admit to falling short and fewer still are generous enough with their efforts to overcompensate

When you always make up for your shortcomings — you are incentivized to keep your word

If you fail on your promise — now you have to double on it!

It’s easy to promise a lot and then explain yourself as “aiming high, falling a bit short but still landing pretty high!”

You don’t want to delude yourself like that

You don’t want to use delusion (delusion of pretending that you will succeed, when you know you won’t) as a motivator

If you’re forced to make up not once but twice for your unrealistic promises — you will quickly lose interest in unrealistic promises
