Making People Look Bad

When you make people you associate with look bad, you make yourself look bad

Don’t make people you associate with look bad

Don’t associate with people who make you look bad

See it works both ways

If you associated with champions — you wouldn’t have this problem of making them look bad; They wouldn’t ever look bad

Then again we make do with what we got

Therefore you exercise good judgement

You discover something you don’t like

You fully accept it

You utter no bad word

Or

You get rid of that problem

E.g. you find fault in someone

You make it work anyway, utter no bad word

Or

You get rid of that person, you won’t associate with standards below you

Not because you’re a snob — but because you understand that you must demand from others as much as you demand from yourself

Not merely to make it “fair” — but simply to make it work

Otherwise you compromise

Compromise on what you two could achieve, and compromise what you already bring to the table

And that would be counterproductive

Why compromise if you don’t have to? Your goal is to move up — not move down. It’s so obvious

Therefore you choose to associate with champions

So one more time, looking at this phenomenon of MAKING OTHERS LOOK BAD, only, now you take full responsibility for it

You understand that if you make others look bad — you make you look bad

You make you look bad — by revealing you don’t associate with champions

(and by revealing that you denigrate your partners behind their backs — one sure way to never get more quality partners again)

Therefore associate with champions

Or make do with what you got, fully taking responsibility
