If it doesn’t help you — it harms you
If it’s either benefit or no benefit, benefit or harm, progress or regress — then NEUTRALITY doesn’t exist
And if neutrality doesn’t exist — then neither does NEUTRAL ATTITUDE, does it?
It’s either positive attitude then — or negative
It’s either great time — or a waste of time
It’s either obvious buy — or throw it away
It’s either do it — or avoid
Now,
I DON’T actually believe it
I believe I can have positive and optimistic and LOVING attitude to everything,
While be ruthless and pragmatic with my time, my finite resources, my energy, my actions
Attitude doesn’t have a cost of replicating
Feelings don’t have a cost of replicating
If you feel love for one thing — it’s not at odds with feeling love for another thing
You can replicate the love you experience for one thing into love for many things
Until you look around and everything around you is lovely in some way, and you love it
Attitude, feeling, mindset — don’t have cost of replicating
ACTIONS do have costs,
TIME has costs
Capital also have costs… if for no other reason the opportunity cost (if you believe that capital is unlimited because human creativity is unlimited, which I do believe)
And yes, that which has cost — either is worth the cost or not
If it’s worth the cost – you win
If it’s not worth the cost — you lose
Losing sucks
Losing is death
You should hate losing
Therefore,
There where you don’t gain — you fucking lose — and it fucking sucks
You don’t view it positively, obviously
You don’t view it positively — therefore you view it NEGATIVELY, OBVIOUSLY
…don’t find it surprising
Don’t find it surprising you’re NOT NEUTRAL
Don’t find it surprising you’re DISAPPOINTED
Not neutral when your time is wasted
When your efforts are wasted
When you’re not appreciated
When you’re NOT BENEFITING in any way — Don’t find it surprising that you’re not neutral then, but negative
It means you’re bleeding some of your finite resources,
It means you’re watching yourself WASTE your life
It means you’re literally dying
It simply means it’s time to get the fuck out from there
Go do something different
…and THEN is the time for LOVE, and “POSITIVITY”, and OPTIMISM, and to be a POLLYANNA,
Now that you ALREADY did what you had to do
Now that you’re looking ahead,
Now that it’s no longer in your hands — but in god’s
And whatever fate they shall bestow upon you — it is a GIFT
And is to be CELEBRATED
And is to be LOVED
And the possibilities are infinite
….and it’s only when it’s time for you to CHOOSE,
Is when you’re back into the FINITE realm,
the OPPORTUNITY COST realm,
The realm in which that which doesn’t benefit you — fucking harms you
It sets you back relatively to the version of you that made the right choice
And there’s no time to be set back
And there’s no redos
This is the time to be serious
This is the time to be greedy
This is life and death
This is the much misunderstood difference between the material and spiritual,
Between concrete and abstract
Between action and idea
Between finite and infinite
Between real pain and real pleasure — and transcendental love
