Self-Awareness is amusing.
Self-inquiry, and the corresponding self-knowledge, put to rest the burden of (over) seriousness.
There is much joviality in an intelligent comprehension (of anything). There is this freeing detachment, with which the quality of lightheartedness is brought to life.
Humour springs out when seriousness and stress are replaced with insight and comprehension.
There’s unparallelled joy in seeing’s the INSUBSTANTIALITY of the SELF… how petty are it’s ways, it’s troubles, it’s ambitions.
Comprehending it’s entire fretful, excitable nature, comprehending it completely, without condemnation, brings about tremendous intelligence… and it brings much amusement too!
Self-awareness is ultimately just very, very amusing.
No wonder BUDDHA is smiling.
