Anytime you do something new you become a little bit more empowered

 

It doesn’t matter how small the thing,

It doesn’t matter if it’s “beneath you”,

It doesn’t matter if it’s NOT GRAND

Get your hands dirty and do it

If it’s new, or more new then your usual bread and butter,

 

Again, it doesn’t have to be glorious,

It doesn’t have to be you testing some revolutionary new method or starting a new business or learning fucking chinese,

It can be fixing your sofa or going fishing for the first time or changing your internet browser or painting your room or going to work by a commute or trying some raw califlower…. you name it

Life is utterly infinite

Utterly infinitely many possibilities

We don’t see them because we’re waiting for it to be glorious and cinematic

 

…and then when the “glorious” comes, if it comes, we are frozen,

all we ever do is get our morning paper, go through the drill of whatever it is that you professionally do, return home, microwave a fucking chicken and watch other people do things,

Obviously it’s the one whose EVERY DAY willing to DO SOMETHING NEW, and CHALLENGE HIMSELF, in SMALL WAYS AND LARGE WAY, he’s the one to be up to the real challenge

It’s how you live every day is what defines your life

 

There’s nothing more to say

Take every opportunity to do something new

Then you’re “inspired”

And then you’re ready

And then you’re empowered
