Struggle sells
Appeal to hardship and struggle and it should be relatable and plausible (to the masses anyway)
Struggle sells and you buy a conveniently convincing image of this conflicted, tough world — with struggle passing up as purpose and grand philosophy — really only concealing the escapism and consternation about the utter emptiness and confusion of the world.
We don’t care that it’s a struggle and we don’t care that it’s a lie — for as long as it alleviates our uncertainty about the world, satiates our desire for justice and orderliness, supplants the utter emptiness of existence with a noble-sounding purpose.
The question is not whether there is struggle or not
The question is WHY should you bring about this struggle upon yourself
Should you?
Do you have to struggle?
Why do you struggle?
Why would you want to struggle?
Know yourself.
Know yourself to know if you should struggle.
One should sell you *struggle* because struggle sells,
don’t fucking buy it
convincing salesman believes his own lies and he certainly believes this lie
know yourself to know what to buy
(know yourself to know if you should struggle)
