Supporting Others Is Investing

Supporting others is basically investing

Investment is leverage for judgment

You want to leverage your prudent judgment of others by supporting them

If you don’t support promising people — you are leaving money on the table

Support is obviously not about altruism — which doesn’t exist

Support is predicated on self-interest — and it’s a good thing.

We are all in this game together and we all benefit from prudent decisions, prudent actions

Not supporting others is not egoism or malice — it is judgment

Not supporting suboptimal behaviors is good judgment

Not supporting optimal behaviors is bad judgment

If others don’t support you it’s either their good judgment or their poor judgment.

Perhaps others don’t understand your value — or perhaps you have no value

In either case it’s your responsibility

If you’re useless — make yourself useful

If your unique ability is not appreciated — either change your crowd or change your behaviors

If you have no one to support it’s either you have poor judgment or wrong people around you

Either way it’s your responsibility

Improve your judgment or improve your crowd or both

Support others because it’s a great investment

Investing makes you not merely rich but wealthy in every facet of life

Well invested money results in wealth

Well invested time results in excellence

Well invested support results in mutual growth as well

Invest wisely and support others wisely
