Either Say Nothing or Say What’s on Your Mind

Either say nothing or say whatever’s on your mind

this is not trivial mind you

Either say nothing and don’t prattle stupid nonsense and make small-talk

or say EXACTLY what’s on your mind — and convey yourself

Don’t say nothing polite

Don’t say nothing ingratiating

Don’t say nothing friendly

Say nothing or say something substantial

Polite is just fake

Sure you want to sometimes be polite to conceal your antagonism

But obviously it’s a short term strategy — you don’t want to live your only life concealing your true attitude to people around you

You don’t want to spend your life having to conceal anything

Don’t ingratiate

Be the man of value — so that value gravitates to you

You can short-term ingratiate your way into a job or relationship — but your cunning and deceit will always be revealed

You can cut the nonsense immediately by being real

“Friendly” is just fake — pretending you’re a friend

Either you’re a friend — and you’re by definition friendly — or you’re no friend — and you’re just a fraud posing as a friend

This only makes sense if someone can benefit you — and it’s still only short term — because you can only build so much on the foundation of lie

SAY EXACTLY WHAT’S ON YOUR MIND

what does it mean?

nothing fancy

you can say any nonsense — as long as it conveys the kind of PERSON you are

as long as it’s not fake

for most people – just not being fake is an achievement

just not being fake conveys so much about the real you

and that’s all you have to do

convey the real you

no fake smiles no fake small-talk no nonsense politeness

the sooner you get over all that stupid nonsense the better

you don’t have to say nothing special — just being real sets you apart

though the sooner you convey yourself — the better

so either say nothing or say what’s on your mind

eradicate all the noise from your interaction

so that you can make TRUE relationships

and so that every breath you draw and every word that proceeds out of your mouth is inspired with care, meaning and sense of urgency

sense of urgency about this short life that we’re living
