Philosophy World

World Really Is Built For Men (And By Men)

Both sexes are identically crucial to the world

because both are identically crucial to the continuation of HUMANITY (reproduction)

(when we say “the world” — we mean WORLD as it pertains to sustaining humans

otherwise, the world beyond humans will be quite fine, with us or without us, obviously)

However men,

(on average, obviously. Everything in this text deals with the average)

are better equipped with all matters pertaining to SURVIVAL

…and CONQUEST

-strength

-ambition

-aggression

-etc

Female is arguably better equipped with tasks of caring, maintaining, nurturing, celebrating

Obviously this dichotomy is most pronounced in matters of reproduction and caring for children

But it also is reflected in how society arranges itself

Both roles are, again, crucial, and synergistic

Therefore any idea of one SEX being better than other is nonsensical

It’s like comparing engine to wheels, which one is “better” for the car — both are obviously completely necessary

HOWEVER since creative (and destructive) power of man is greater — it’s the man who calls the shots

He built it

Therefore has the first say in how it’s done

And what is first done with it

And he gets the early benefits of it

And he gets the first praise for it

Therefore YES, the world IS a patriarchy, determined by the differences in sexes — and YES, the WORLD IS “BUILT FOR MEN” first

or to be MORE PRECISE:

-world is created for both sexes

-since BOTH sexes benefit in the creation

-and both will MANAGE those benefits (female arguably even more)

However,

Much of the world is THE CONSTRUCTION SITE itself, it’s constantly being built and rebuilt

And that of course is quite a masculine environment

And quite suited to men

And quite less suited to women

And therefore less comfortable to women, and more difficult to assert oneself in

This INCLUDES:

-TECHNICAL problems

(obviously more natural to men)

-including technical problem of RESOURCES allocation, RISKING capital, understanding complex systems,

(nerdy fucking shit and stressful and competitive)

-brutal competition, even if not zero sum, then still hierarchical

-GAME-like detachment from mere human issues in favour of grander vision

-etc

Aforementioned problems are EQUALLY RELEVANT in their OUTCOME to both sexes but are more masculine in their NUTS and bolts

Which means that, for instance, the OUTCOME, the fruit of ENGINEERING, will be equally relevant to both sexes

But the ENGINEERING itself will be done by man

AND the first benefits of it will be enjoyed by man too (reward)

And though, again, the woman will get to enjoy the fruit of this wonderful work, eventually,

it will always come AFTER the men

And there is nothing to do with it

Differences are to be celebrated, not destroyed

Even if they result in inequality

Not every place on earth has equal temperature either, or equally beautiful views

But yes, the world is less equal than we sometimes like to admit

And even less of that inequality makes sense to ever rectify (though some does)

Just be mindful of it

Celebrate and concentrate on that which can be accomplished, built together,

(this obviously is the right advice for every single relationship and organisation under the sun)

Especially taking advantage of those synergies,

While understanding the differences, PROFOUNDLY, and accepting them fully

Failure to do so will lead to actual discrimination — i.e. one which is unfair (rather than incisively meritoriously discrimination)

And by either sex toward either sex

Which is unproductive and then destructive

Addendum:

How unequal it actually is — I don’t know

How fairly discriminating and meritorious vs unfairly discriminating the world is right now — I don’t know.

How much men and women actually differ — I don’t know

Answer to above questions is always just a RELATIVE APPROXIMATION — not a concrete immutable fact

Both sides of the debate are overconfident, thus destroying nuance — thus missing the mark — thus perpetuating and aggravating actual (unfair) DISCRIMINATION
