you still have to be honest when they FUCKED UP

or maybe there’s no point in them knowing
but they will learn — in that you will NEVER pretend it’s otherwise

and they will learn — because CONSEQUENCES cannot be escaped anyway
you, at best (worst) — can REFRAIN from telling them — because it’s utterly futile

because as an idealist — there is no room for ANY incompetence EVER, period

why you choosing an EMOTION, an ILLUSION — over REALITY?
and they will learn
when you work on something — that thing is the goal
anyone who doesn’t help — either shapes up or ships out
you’re not a liar — you let them know
you give them the gift of truth
and that includes the project you work on together
you can be the lowest minion there — if you’re working on it — means you care. Otherwise what’s the point?
And therefore the reality of any shortcomings must be made TRANSPARENT
so that the SYSTEM can self-improve
what’s the point otherwise?
even selfishly — you want the source of benefit for you to maximally benefit as well
You must be the most neutral asshole in the world
It helps you not be an asshole too.
If everyone knows every PERTINENT negative opinion you have of them — they at the very least can understand, and can see that you’re not viewing them this way out of spite
Hopefully they will also see that you’re even harsher on yourself than you are on them
